Let the Bodies Hit the Floor

System of a Down. So "old skool" huh.

If you remember, the last time I wrote about the Lost Prophets I said I wasn't a fan of noisy music. But sometimes something like this can feel so good.

"One - Nothing wrong with me
Two - Nothing wrong with me
Three - Nothing wrong with me
Four - Nothing wrong with me

One - Something's got to give
Two - Something's got to give
Three - Something's got to give

Let the bodies hit the floor"

Something I've been playing a little more the last few days. Hurhur. So heartfelt, at the right time.

I used to have issues with lyrics that repeat themselves a lot. Or at least the writers thereof. Probably why I am still in a bit of confusion about whether I like the blues style, but that's a story for another day.

This just happens to be one of those rare occasions on which I find that the bare-faced "straightforwardness" of the lyrics and the simplicity of the repeated structure just add intensity and create the right atmosphere for a rather effective... ... ... purge, if you will.

Anyway, you guys probably won't read this, but if you do, tonight's dinner and coffee was wonderfully precious and I don't know how I'd ever survive without you! Thankew many many.

Sorry everyone else for cryptic posting. As with dancing in NYC, sometimes less is more. And if you're one of those with whom you know I'll share anytime you ask, go ahead and do it.

I'm looking forward to dancing tomorrow. My core control has really gone to hell in a handbasket of late, but its a great break.
